The law firm is the controller of the data of its clients, parties to proceedings and associates. Mivare processes that data on the law firm's behalf as a processor, in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Professional secrecy
The agreement takes into account that the data may be covered by advocates' or legal advisers' professional secrecy. Every person given access to the data has undertaken in writing to maintain secrecy indefinitely.
Only on the law firm's instructions
We process the data only on the law firm's instructions: in line with the agreement, the app's configuration and the actions of its users. Staff access is limited to what is strictly necessary.
Data in the European Union
We store and process the entrusted data and its backups only in data centres within the European Union, including when the law firm switches on the Mivi assistant.
Breaches within 24 hours
We notify the law firm of a personal data breach, and of any event that may have disclosed information covered by professional secrecy, without undue delay and in any event within 24 hours.
End of the agreement and audit
You can download a copy of the data in the app at any time, and after the agreement ends we keep the data for 30 days for export. The law firm may carry out an audit no more than once every 12 months.
